Sporty Sunday (on Monday): The Real Deal

Sorry to all of you for not posting on Sunday Funday like I should have.  However, I think I have a really good excuse- I left early Sunday morning to head up to the hallowed grounds of Lambeau Field to watch the Packers take down the Denver Broncos with my good friend and co-worker Amy.  I figured this would be a good opportunity to show you how  two fabulous Packer fans actually dressed for the game and show you the real deal.  The weather was sunny and 64 degrees-which was perfect weather to still look cute and show your team spirit without having to cover it all up with a jacket. It ended up being too warm for me to wear my green hoodie to complete my outfit, but I’d rather have it be too warm than too cold- especially up at Lambeau.

As we arrived in Green Bay, there was excitement in the air (as per the usual on game day).  The smell of burgers and brats on the grill and the sounds of music blasting from the speakers of pumped up fans only added to the ambiance.  Packer fans parked in peoples’ front yards and in the parking lots of local businesses were tailgating and getting ready for the game.  As we sat propped up on the back of Amy’s trunk, we observed the crazy fashions of the super fans that strolled past us on the way in to the game.  Jerseys, feather green and gold feathered boas, and green and gold zebra printed cowboy hats were a plenty.  Fans for the other team stood out like a sore thumb in the sea of green and gold.  As we made our way in to the stadium we found some uniquely dressed fans and decided to take our picture with them.  Turns out they are the guys who created ‘Feelin so Fly Like a Cheesehead‘ and they were shooting their new video for the remake of LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem to ‘Green and Yellow in the House Tonight’.  Hopefully we make a cameo in the video :).

Here’s a picture of what we wore for the game and our music video buddies.  I think I might need to get a pair of those gold pants for the next game, lol!
